Glory to the Holy name of our Lord Jesus Christ
Jesus redeemed Pr. Rymond Francis in the year 1992 from his ignorant sinful life without the word of Lord. He was born and brought up in a traditional Roman Catholic family. After salvation, he committed his life to Jesus in 1995 to do his Ministry Work. Between 1995 and 2000 he was in “Jesus with Us” church under the council of Rev. Fr. Berchmans and later with the “Praise & Worship Prayer Fellowship”, Tuticorin from 2001 to 15th Feb 2009. After 14 years in His Ministry, Lord talked with him clearly through Ezra 9:4 & 10:1 [“….were assembled unto me every one that trembled at the words of the God of Israel” & “…. and before the house of God, there assembled unto Him, out of Israel a very great congregation of Men, Women, and Children”] and called him to build His church. When he was waiting in His presence and prayed, He confirmed the name of His church through Revelation 11:11. [“The Spirit of Life from God entered into them and they stood upon their feet”].
Holy Spirit urges every believer to be filled with His Spirit of Life, rise up and stand on his feet to enter heaven and it is His grace to name this church as “SPIRIT OF LIFE REVIVAL CHURCH”. When he met Bro. Augustine Jebakumar at Ambasamudram Missionary Convention on 26th January 2009, he shared what the Lord has talked over to form and name His church. Brother also confirmed this mission of building the church through Ezekiel 36: 37[?.”I will increase them with men like a flock”] and dedicated the SPIRIT OF LIFE REVIVAL CHURCH on 25th February 2009 and ordained him and his wife Sr. X. Delsiya in our Lord’s Ministry Work.
The church was functioning on a relative’s premises on a monthly rental basis. Early Morning Prayers, Night Prayers, Vehicle Parking, and Movement of the believers frequenting the church cannot be conducted with freedom as it is a residential area. When the Church prayed for a change of Place, Lord our God gave this burden to a Chennai-based faithful couple Bro. Jalarnath and Sr. Helen who come to our church worship.
Lord our God of great grace and peace led us through the phase of acquiring 20 cent land at South Raja Street at the heart of the town opposite Tuticorin Railway Station.
Over these 21 years, during prayer and worship time Holy Spirit has uttered about 800 Songs.
99 of those songs have been released as ten volumes titled ‘Deva Pathaiyil Uravaadum Geethangal’ by the abundant grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Five more of these volumes are being planned for release by January 2019.
Having no idea about music, but the Holy Spirit leads and gives songs with a tune during personal prayer and worship time.
